Chelsea Market

The place is kept in its original style, but crude walls and ceilings and factory details. Truly a beautiful place.
The place has a lot of restaurants and food places as Amy’s bread, Buddakan, Fat Witch Bakery, One Lucky Duck, Sara Beth’s, The Nut Box and many others.)

Street art

(On our way to the New Museum, we walked past a building with street art, it was pretty cool some of it.)

New Museum

New Museum ligger på adressen 235 Bowery

(One of the last day I was in New York, I visited the New Museum, which I believe stands out from the other museums I have been on the city.
The place is very fascinating, and the exhibitions they are in the odd direction and different but still very exciting
There were a couple exhibits that caught us by example. Brion Gysin: Dream Machine, and Rivaner Neuwnschwander: I Wish Your Wish, had various exhibitions on floors, one of them was when you came in from the street, which is a room filled with colorful ribbon that have a lot of wishes from people. You can then find some wishes and put them on your arm and when they fall off, so would the wishes come true.
I chose one and put a new up and my fell of after a few days in the middle of the cinema while we saw Inception.
It is not only exhibitions that are interesting to walk around and look at even the building itself is beautiful.

After about two months in sandals

(After about two months in sandals my feet look like this:) Have lived in sandals for the last two months due to a temperature of not less than 25 degrees and a nice high humidity.)

Al Pacino in The Merchant of Venice at Central Park.

I may be crazy, going at 8 am to line up for “free” tickets to The Merchant of Venice at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, because they only start giving out tickets at 1 pm. But New Yorkers are much crazier than me — people had been in line since the night before. Yes, they waited all night for free tickets. Is it because Al Pacino is starring? Or because it was the last night of the show? I don’t know, but I didn’t have that kind of time, so I left and bought the tickets on craigslist from a kind scalper for $50 apiece. (They were going for $150, usually)
The show, in an outdoor “Globe”-like theater, was amazing. Pacino — unforgettable.
Pictures were forbidden — cameras confiscated until the photos were deleted — so here’s all we got.

Baoguette/Pho Sure ligger på adressen 120 Christopher Street (between Bleecker St & Bedford St)

(A really nice place to eat is at Baoguette / PHO SURE who have vietnamese food. The place is not so large but the food is incredibly delicious.
The man got Hanger Steak & Fried Egg (sounds weird, but it was really delicious)
I chose Custom Sticky Rice, mum was super delicious.)

Luxury laundry

(One of the things we chose to do was to get our clothes wash. We simply handed our laundry in the laundry and if it was delivered before at. 12.00, we could retrieve the same day after at.18.00, and it was delivered after at. 12:00, it could fetch next day when they opened.
Not only do they washed it, but it was also put together for us and we pay per. kg. We spent the local laundry.
You can/could even use their washing machines and wash your own clothes, if you wished.

Back in Denmark

(Landed this morning at Kastrup approx. at. 8:00 – at home, we took ourselves a little nap, which should have been at one hour but ended up being 4 hours.
Now sit we here on the couch and think of New York and try to understand that we are in Denmark – boo already miss New York and all the exciting and fun deals it has to offer.
Has a lot I to tell, so the next few days there will be a lot of posts and what I have been shopping with home there from.)

Design your own Crumpler Bag

Butikkern ligger på adressen 49 8th Ave (between Jane St & West 4th St)

(One cool thing you can in one of the Crumpler stores located in Manhattan is getting its own design on one of their bags, and if it was not because I have a lot of Crumpler bags, also the model that you can be get your own design on, so there was probably a bag in my luggage.
So if you like me love the Crumpler, and have room in your luggage, take down and have a chat with them on design (I unfortunately do not knowhow long it takes to have made such a bag)
